Itinerary
Upon arrival in Johannesburg you will be met by our representative who will then transfer you to your hotel in Sandton which is about 45 minutes away. You will have this afternoon at leisure.
Full day in Joburg at leisure.
Johannesburg is South Africa’s largest city and is the financial and commercial capital of Africa. It is in this fast-paced metropolis that the country’s radical political and social transformation is most evident - this is the “Rainbow Nation” at work.
Once you have had a hearty breakfast at your hotel. You are met by our representative make a trip for about 4.5 hrs. by road through the rolling hills of the North West Province to Madikwe Private Game Reserve for your 2 nights stay. You arrive in time to check into your lodge and later take an afternoon game drive but back in good time for dinner and the night at leisure.
The 76,000 hectare Madikwe Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s biggest wildlife sanctuaries and is home to the Big 5 and over 340 bird species. It is especially famous for its packs of African Wild Dog – and it is malaria-free. It is about 4 hours by road from Johannesburg. Madikwe is situated in the transition region between two vegetation types: Lowveld bushveld and Kalahari thornveld. As a result, the region is able to host to an incredible diversity of species. In addition to wild dog, cheetah, lion, white and black rhino, buffalo and elephant, Madikwe is home to a wide range of plains game, such as giraffe, zebra and many antelope species.
This morning after your morning game drive you return to the lodge for a brunch then check out of the hotel and embark on a 4.5 hrs drive to Johannesburg where you board a flight to Cape Town which is about 2 hrs. On arrival in Cape Town you are met by our representative and you will be transferred to your hotel which is approximately 35 minutes drive away.

Cape Town regularly tops many lists of world must-visit destinations and Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain has recently been voted one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Cosmopolitan and fashionable, the relaxed atmosphere and pavement café culture give Cape Town a Southern European feel – but with a distinctive African twist.
This morning after breakfast you check out of your hotel and you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport for your flight back home.
