Since Kazuri is just a stones-throw away from the Karen Blixen Museum (named after Karen Blixen of the award winning film and book 'Out Of Africa') you get a chance to visit this museum too and finally to the Giraffe Centre.
Itinerary
You will be picked at 0700 hrs. and drive all the way to Karen and straight to Kazuri Beads and Pottery factory.
You will be met by a guide whowill give you the history of the factory and later take you around the factory for you to see the whole process from the molding of raw clay through to the glazing, decorating and threading of beads as finished products. The salesroom is attractively laid out and a beautiful place to visit.
From here you will go to Karen Blixen which is about 25 minutes away from here. You will spend some time at the museum then be transferred to Carnivore restaurant for lunch and later go to the giraffe center. Here you will have the experience of feeding the friendly Rothchilds Giraffes. They accept a kiss as they pick their food from your palms.
Your tour ends here and you will drive back to the location of your choice. You can stop over at some shopping areas en route for souvenirs.
