Summary
This tour takes you to Hell's Gate National Park commonly referred to as a Walk on the Wild Side. It is namedHell's gate for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries. You can learn about conservation at the Elsamere Conservation Center, which was once home to Joy Adamson.
Itinerary
You will be picked at around 0700 hrs and begin with a drive north towards Lake Naivasha, you will have a stop along the way for a breathtaking views of the Rift Valley. You will then proceed towards the lake town.
The Hell's Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa.
On arrival you will begin your hike within the park and can participate in many other activities including biking, the natural spa, and mountain climbing.
You will break for lunch at a restaurant where you will have an opportunity to sample regional cuisine and engage with the locals. Later you will head to the Elsamere Conservation Center on the shores of the lake.
You will later embark onto your car and drive back to Nairobi and be taken to the location of your choice.
