We may all know that the longest waterfall in the world is Angel Falls in Venezuela yet the largest and the most beautiful of all the waterfalls in the world is Mosi-oa-Tunya as referred to by the local people which means “smoke that thunders”. It is on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe and was named Victoria Falls by a Scottish missionary David Livingstone in 1855.
Other than enjoying the beauty and wonder of the falls, while visiting this place you can also do white water rafting on the Zambezi river which is regarded as the top ten paddling rivers on the planet. Right on the edge of the waterfall is the Devil’s Pool Victoria Falls and if you are daring enough, you can swim in this pool straddling the edge of the falls. You can take the flight of the angels which is a helicopter flight over the vic falls. You can also do bungee jumping or high Wire Activities like Zipline, Gorge Swing and Flying Fox.
