Jambo Jet is responding to the economic crisis brought on by Covid-19 by introducing payment plans for booking tickets. The new payment plan is called ‘Jaza pole pole’, in which customers can book airline tickets 60 days in advance and pay a deposit of KES 2,670 of the value of the ticket. The rest of the balance can be paid in three installments.
Karanja Ndegwa, the acting managing director, said “the move was part of the company’s strategy to help households manage the tough economic times brought about by the pandemic.”

Passengers who chose his option can pay for their tickets within 21 days prior to the date of travel. This gives them flexibility in planning their trips early and pay within their budget.
